2016 YEAR- YEAR OF HEALTHY MOTHER AND CHILD

Population of the village are very happy with the conditions created in Kujgan rural medical centre in Asaka district. It’s not yet a year that resident of this village Saida Kamolova brought a bride to her home. She is happy that her bride is pregnant and spoke about her impressions of the medical examination to her neighbors: "Oh my neighbor, the other day I took my bride to a rural medical centre for a medical check and the conditions created there are the same like in the city. And also modern equipment… We didn’t have such conditions in our time!."

In fact all the necessary conditions were created for keeping health of the population, for the citizens to go through medical examination in rural health centers repaired fully and launched to work. Now citizens of Kunjan don’t have to go to the city to get doctor’s advice. They can have high-quality and qualified medical services right here. Also everybody is satisfied with the creation of all the necessary conditions in rural health center in High-Boz neighborhood.

In general, particular attention is being paid to the implementation of the duties assigned in the state program of "Year of healthy mother and child" and as well as "About State program of further strengthen reproductive health the population, protecting the health of mothers, children and adolescents for the period of 2014-2018 years in Uzbekistan" of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on August 1, 2014, Especially extensive work is being carried out aimed at controlling the health of each family that is citizens in neighborhoods, enriching their knowledge and understanding on medical culture and a healthy lifestyle, improving the efficiency of patronage service in 26 rural health centers.

- The reforms being implemented in the healthcare system of our country, the introduction of the best practice of medicine of developed countries to our activity are enlarging our opportunities,-says a general practice doctor of Marqayuz rural health center Dilbarkhon Hakimova. – We used to give a direction to a central district clinic due to our chances were limited on the examination of patients, specialists’ check, viewing of analysis. Now, people don’t need to wander from one place to another. Patients are examined right here and receive the necessary procedures.

      Special attention is being paid to reinforce the activities of "Health sector" working in th neighborhoods. Significant work is being carried out in collaboration with the members of the sector and doctors. It has got a specific importance that the implementation of working system with a specific group of people in each day of the week. Being marked of Monday – old people’s day, Tuesday- pregnant women’s day, Wednesday – children’s and teenagers' day, Thursday- day of house and ecology,  Friday - women's day, Saturday – day of health, the environment and sport giving positive results. On these days patronage nurses meet assigned people according to plan, make conversations with them directly.

- Special attention is being paid to the formation of a healthy lifestyle among the population, especially the issue of maternal and child health care - says deputy of the head of the regional medical association of maternal and child health Bahromjon Abdullaev. - Currently all the conditions were created for keeping the health of mothers and children in our multi branch central clinics aimed for 800 visits per day, its children's department with the capacity of serving 500 children, as well as a regional hospital aimed for 400 visits, in its children’s department. These establishments were provided with the most modern medical equipment in the framework of "Health-2" project.

This, of course is creating the opportunity of showing qualified medical service to patients.

- I had a medical examination in a gynecology department of central clinic, the existence of animia disease on me was determined during the check-says a resident of the Kungirat neighborhood Mohinur Sobirova. The required procedures were shown by the doctors to me. I took treatment with their help. Today I feel much better.

During the past period of this year more than 61,800 women of childbearing age and 34261 youth were held in-depth medical examination in the district. The women and youth who were identified a variety of diseases during the check were recovered. Besides pregnant women are constantly under medical supervision, they are being provided with multi-vitamins. In general, as a result of effective work being carried out in this direction maternal mortality wasn’t recorded, infant mortality has decreased sharply in this year.

In one word such work above aimed at the protection of population especially mothers and children, forming healthy lifestyle skills in the district will consistently be continued.
